Good call on the previous review! Although I do remeber the band hitting an extremely high point with the "Wish I were a Headlight" lines in Chinacat. And I remember Rain like it was yesterday. The high point of the night!

This show was one of those bitter sweet GD moments. It wasn't a real well played show but it was also unforgetable to the GD family.
For the second time in not so many years Jerry was returning from the brink of death and which into the great Abyss he dove head first just a few years later.
After almost fifteen years what still sticks in my mind was the look on his face as he tried to reconnect with his guitar and he did so a few times but there still seemed a air of unfamiliarity about it through most of the show.
Then you really saw he made the connection with all of us as they sang Rain and everbody knew it was Still the Grateful Dead and if we were patient we would get back most of the ole Jerry we knew before his ill health.
